The Land Trust for Tennessee was founded in 1999 by The Honorable Philip Bredesen and a group of visionary conservation leaders. Since then, The Land Trust has partnered with landowners and communities across the state to protect over 137,000 acres of land important to the people of Tennessee. From family farms and historic landscapes to public parks and forests, the work of The Land Trust has a lasting impact on people and places.
