The Land Trust for Tennessee was founded in 1999 by Phil Bredesen and a group of visionary conservation leaders. Since then, The Land Trust has worked in partnership with landowners and communities across the state to protect over 136,000 acres of land important to the people of Tennessee. From family farms and historic landscapes, to public parks and forests, the work of The Land Trust has a lasting impact on people and places.
